Newspower members, buying under an exclusive trading agreement between Coca Cola Amatil and Newspower Australia enjoy extra discounts, increased profits and access to an exclusive promotional program.
And Coca Cola Amatil is very 'proud of our association with Newspower' according to CCA Business Development Executive, David McNamee.
David was on hand, together with Peter Ballantyne, the National Business Manager for CCA to participate in an exciting new initiative between the two partners - a video presentation for Newspower members and CCA field staff, outlining all the features and benefits of the Newspower/CCA Agreement.
Newspower retained Sydney marketing firm, McMonigal & Associates to produce the video which will available for members to download from the Newspower website. CCA field staff will also use the tool to demonstrate the benefits of the agreement to members when they call on Newspower stores. The Newspower stand at the Sydney GNS Market Fair was the backdrop for the filming of the video, which took place last Friday evening.
CCA Business Development Executive, David McNamee joins Newspower National Manager, Greg Talbot to proclaim the benefts of the Newspower/CCA Trading agreement for members.
"Coca Cola Amatil Australia is an amazing company to work with" said Newspower National Manager, Greg Talbot. "They are innovative, exciting and highly professional. We are fortunate to enjoy such a great relationship, because it means our members gain access to the leading brands in the market, with extra discounts. Extra discounts mean extra profits" said Talbot.
The shooting of the video was not without it's share of trails and tribulations and what was intended as a four minute presentation took around 3 hours to film. "We thought the Dome, the venue for the GNS Fair would be ideal, but unfortunately there was still a lot of background noise as exhibitors put the finishing touches on their stands" said Peter Ballentyne from CCA. "The Dome seemed to amplify the noise as well, which made it difficult, but we got there in the end."
"We would have got there sooner, if Greg had turned off his mobile" said McNamee jokingly. Its clear the trio enjoy a good relationship and the whole experience is another example of how much respect there is between Newspower and CCA.
Talbot was quick to praise CCA for their support of the initiative. "Were moving towards delivery of training modules for our members using multi-media and the Internet. This is the third in our training videos and the first involving one of our key supply partners. The support we received from CCA, especially from Peter as our National Account Manager has been tremendous."
"The message of the video is simple" said Talbot, "buy under the agreement, maintain the cooler to planogram, with particular attention to the core range of products, position the cooler in a good location and you will grow sales and profits."
The video will be available for viewing on the Newspower website shortly, but in the meantime the CCA Business Unit is standing by to help Newspower members grow their profits.
